β Join us for our upcoming on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 12pm EDT! Our host, Abigail Hielscher (University of Vermont), is welcoming our guest speakers: Jesse Burk-Rafe (NYU Langone) and Janae Heath, (University of Pennsylvania).
Their session, "Precision Medical Education", is an emerging field which uses data to drive personalized learning experiences for students and trainees. By participating in this session, attendees will learn about what leaders in this developing field are doing to engage learners at a personal level and will additionally gain insight into how they can incorporate similar approaches at their institutions.

Congratulations to some of our Award Winners!
Dr. Peter Anderson, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Pathology at Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is our recipient of this year's Edward Patrick Finnerty Lifetime Achievement Award.
Dr. Christopher Burns, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology and Director for Active Learning at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, is this year's winner of the Distinguished Career Award for Excellence in Teaching and Educational Scholarship.
Dr. Sol Roberts-Lieb, Assistant Professor and Faculty Director of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, is this year's winner of the Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching and Innovation.
Dr. Arkene Levy Johnston, Professor of Medical Education and Associate Dean of Community Affairs at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) received the inaugural IAMSE Advocacy and Outreach Award.
