Former Marshall professor emeritus William “Bill” Denman died Tuesday, June 16, at the age of 85.
“Bill was both a gentleman and a scholar," said Montserrat Miller, executive director of the John Deaver Drinko Academy.

The Cecil E. Roberts Legacy Museum formally opened its doors Tuesday evening with a crowd of more than 150 people. The museum was created to honor the life and legacy of Roberts, 79, a longtime labor activist and former United Mine Workers of America president.
