For first responders and those who serve in high-stress professions, loved ones often share in the challenges that come with traumatic experiences.

This PTSD Awareness Month, we're recognizing the importance of supporting not only those experiencing post-traumatic stress, but also the families who stand beside them.

Strong connections help strengthen everyone involved.

Today we celebrate the birthday of the United States Army. For 251 years, Army soldiers have served with dedication, courage, and commitment.

Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. Your contributions and sacrifices are appreciated today and every day.

PTSD Awareness Month is also a reminder that support is available.

Over the past year, Jamie has provided critical mental wellness support for local police officers and firefighters through coaching, crisis support, resource navigation, and critical incident response.

Six-month check-in! Thanks to a generous grant from the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington WV, Compass Huntington has been able to provide WHOOP devices to several local members of the police and fire departments.

These tools help track sleep, recovery, and daily strain, offering valuable insight into how demanding work impacts the body over time. This kind of support allows us to go beyond awareness and provide real, measurable ways to improve long-term health and resilience.

We’re incredibly grateful for this investment in the well-being of those who serve our community every day. 💙
