Facebook, it's me calling to tell you that we're making a record and I wanted to remind you of a couple of ways to stay in touch!

The world seems to spin faster and faster by the day. We've all noted changes in social and online social behavior. It feels hard to share anything. Most things just don't really reach anyone. Comments and engagement are way less (for everyone, not just me, I know - the world is just changing), but still, it makes it hard to feel you out there sometimes. It's worrisome as an artist who depends on these platforms and ultimately the support of others to keep moving forward.

I say this because I have been running a P*treon (we call it "The Treehouse) for a few years and I will be posting extensive and up-close updates as we move forward with the record. I've already shared some exclusive demos. If you've been a long-time fan and you're looking for a way to consistently support and/or keep up with what's going on, I would urge you to pop over to our site and see what we're doing. Tiers range from FREE to $75 a month - the top tiers being people who are super ridiculously generous and really feel strongly about supporting us/the arts. Even the free tier though, keeps you in our direct circle and I'd love to see you there.

I don't mention this Treehouse very often because I have seen that most of my posts, unless met with a whollllle lot of engagement and comments, die super hard and actually end up hurting my already low engagement (love the timeline we're living in!) because I don't think facebook loves to share.

Support the artists when you see them trying. It's a wild world out here.

Some of yall have probably noticed that my June schedule is suppppper light. That's because WE'RE RECORDING AN ALBUM! But - that doesn't mean I can't drop in and make some music occasionally with old and new friends. If you're in the Pittsburgh area, come hang out - Friday, June 19th, I'll be sharing the stage with the exquisite songwriter, Alyssa Hankey.

It's gonna be the best Tuesday night you had since the last Tuesday you spent with us packing the Empty Glass on a random Tuesday in November. If you're chasing that nostalgia and warmth - you know, the kind we all crave from back before we had too many ways to get a hold of each other?
