IBEW 317 RENEW (Reach Out and Energize Next-gen Electrical Workers).. We are a group of young electrical workers inside IBEW local 317.
We are driven to the sole purpose of getting members 35 years and younger active in our local union. To enlighten others the benefit of being union....To have fun while giving back to the community which has given us so much!! Remember young members... We are our locals future... and its future is only as strong as our youngest members!
Hey guys been a minute since our last post! We’d like to inform you that Renew is having a Christmas party for family and friends dec 16, 3:00-6:00pm at the hall. We will have donation bins for clothes and toys for the salvation army and children orphanage. There will be food and Christmas ornament decorating for the kids. Please come on out and join us!

Come on down to IBEW LU 317 tailgate in the softball field parking lot for the first home football game of the season tomorrow Sept. 3 2022! Great food good times and brotherhood! Hope to see you there.

“Normalize sending kids to trade school after high school without making them feel like they are less than 4-year university kids”
Here at the IBEW, we feel very strongly that college is not the only option. However, college is often pushed on our younger generations as the ultimate goal. Unlike a traditional 4-year college, through an apprenticeship with the IBEW / NECA Powering America team, you can earn money while learning all the skills you need to be a successful electrician.
Looking for anyone that could donate/sale some fire wood for the strike efforts at CHH so that they can keep warm! Any help is appreciated! Looking for at least a truck load!
