What an amazing experience for our Spring Hill Elementary students at the Little Herd Women’s Basketball Camp!
Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Marshall Women’s Basketball, our students had the opportunity to spend time learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, and having fun on the court. The smiles, excitement, and memories created throughout the camp made this experience truly special.
We are grateful to Marshall Women’s Basketball through our Bucket Bestie program for investing in our students and providing them with such a positive and inspiring opportunity. Thank you for helping create an unforgettable experience for our young athletes!

SummerBoost “Adventure” Camp: Heritage Farm Field Trip
Our SummerBoost Adventure Camp had an exciting trip to Heritage Farm today! 🌿🐐
Students explored our rich Appalachian heritage and learned about a variety of animals. It was a day full of hands-on learning, discovery, and fun!
This first adventure has already given our campers so many meaningful experiences—they will have lots to share, reflect on, and write about when they return to the classroom. We can’t wait to hear their stories! ✏️

🥪Cabell County Schools to Provide Summer Meals Throughout the Community🍎
Cabell County Schools announces its sponsorship of the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Lunch Program is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.
Students may access the meals through three different methods:
🌟daily lunch at various community sites
🌟weekly meal boxes in more rural areas of the district, as determined by the USDA
🌟daily breakfast and lunch as part of any Cabell County Schools' summer learning programs
The meal box pick up is only available at sites that were approved by USDA. While Huntington sites did not qualify for multiple day meal boxes, we have many locations hosting daily summer feeding sites.
See the list and schedule of on-site daily meals by visiting: https://www.cabellschools.com/article/2963647
Non-Congregate Feeding (7-Day Meal Box Distribution) * Parents are required to sign up weekly if they intend to pick up a meal box at one of the following sites. The link to sign up for the first week (June 17) will be live starting at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10. Parents or guardians may sign up at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/cZc4nMf0yz
