We'll be ready next year!

Important Update: Healing Appalachia 2026

Hope in the Hills has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 festival. Rising production costs and the current economic environment mean we need to focus our resources where they have always mattered most - recovery programs at the heart of this mission.

This is not the outcome we wanted. Hope in the Hills will continue its year-round mission - leveraging music to support recovery, funding addiction prevention and spreading hope and community through our many growing partnerships across Appalachia and beyond.

Healing Appalachia will return September 10 and 11, 2027 at Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Kentucky. The mission continues, and we will be back.

9 days away!!! We are getting everything ready. Packing ci**rs, building some outstanding packs, organizing raffle prizes, etc...

This year is going to be epic!

Today, we'd like to take some time to thank all of those that have supported us, shown us love, and allowed us to cook for you.

4 years ago today, Paul Wood and myself Joshua Wooten took things to the next level when we went to pickup the and see what kind of chaos we could get into.

We've served small family meals as well as large venues with thousands in attendance. We dont do it to get rich, but rather because we like to cook when we can, provide for those that enjoy it, and to bless those when we can.

Today, we had the privilege and honor to donate a meal that was part of a fundraising raffle for a dear friend of ours. The winner of that meal, selflessly shared it with others that are near to his heart. Hootie, thank you for your generosity and your love for your people.

Today, we say thanks again to all of our supporters. God has blessed us in more ways than we can count and look forward to being able to help more in the future.

Attention to those fans that love the mustard sauce...

πŸ‘€ that slaw on top of a cheddar jalapeno sausage. The test kitchen is at it again and made a batch of slaw based around the mustard sauce. It definitely made a good pairing with the heat of that sausage and just may make an appearance in the future.

We always like to try new things, so be on the lookout for more upcoming things in the future.
