🚨REMINDER 🚨 Join us for an evening of community, conversation, and compassion at the West End Faith Allaince Walk in Faith Fellowship Monthly gathering, hosted at SPECO this month!

We'll gather at St. Peter's Episcopal Church for snacks and fellowship, then be inspired by a special presentation by guest speaker Michelle Perdue of the Cabell-Huntington Health Department.

We are also collecting liquid dish soap (5oz) for our West End Care Trees. Please consider bringing a bottle to donate if you're able!

Weather permitting, we'll close the evening by walking the neighborhood and distributing blessing box go-bags to our neighbors in need. We hope to see you there!

Thursday, June 18th: Weekly Meal at Harmony House, located at 627 4th Ave, Huntington, WV. We will meet in front of Harmony House to begin serving around 11:45AM. Let us know ahead of time if you're planning to assist! ❤

Saturday, June 20th: Monthly Floodwall Distribution, where we will distribute Narcan and Carebags. Those interested in assisting will meet at the Outreach Center at 10:30AM, located at 2248 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV. Send a message if you plan to join, so we don’t leave anyone behind! 💛

PANTRY HOURS & INFO: The SPECO Food Pantry is open this week on Wednesday (10AM-2PM) and Thursday (12:30PM-2PM) to make arrangements for a pantry bag. Donations can be dropped off during these times as well. We will post weather updates to our story. Contact us by phone for questions and concerns (text preferred) at 681-554-5828. ❤

BLESSING BOX STOCK DAYS: We have adjusted our Blessing Box program due to changes in funding. Volunteers will stock the blessing box on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at various times. We are always grateful for helping hands to sort donations, organize the clothing closet, and assist with serving clients in the shelter. Whether you need volunteer hours, want to give back, or are looking for a way to make a difference right here in our community, we would love to have you.

Volunteer hours are available Monday through Friday:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Holiday hours may vary.

Save a Life Day 2026 is coming to Cabell County on Thursday, September 24th, and we're looking for organizations, churches, businesses, and community groups to host a site!

This is a FREE, nationwide public health event focused on:
✅ Opioid overdose awareness
✅ Hands-on Narcan/naloxone training
✅ Free life-saving kit distribution

Hosting a site is a powerful way to bring this critical resource directly to YOUR neighborhood.

💜 Sites that hosted in previous years will be given FIRST CHOICE in their areas, but ALL interested organizations are welcome to sign up!
