It happened again! Years ago I wanted a garden but the dirt was depleted. My ecologist buddy advised me to compost kitchen scraps. At home, I usually stick to a plant based diet. When buried these things decompose fairly fast and don’t attract vermin.
It’s a success every time! First, tomato plants sprouted. Being I former city slicker I was baffled by this phenomenon. Now in this planter we have a cantaloupe vine.

This week I was finally able to get in there and do it! Our container is organized and looks fab. We have an amazing collection and love sourcing rare and unique finds for our clients. Please contact us if you’re looking for a special piece of furniture or art.

This particular kitchen remodel has been a labor of love. My Nana (maternal great grandmother) bought this house in the 80s. Instead of replacing the original 70s cabinets, I stripped the many layers of paint and varnish to reveal distressed wood. It’s not perfect, but I prefer it to the expected white plastic cabinets of today 😉
