I haven't posted lately other than my cover photo of the original Patriot Point. Hoping to get back in the "photography" mode soon. In the mean time for my new followers, here are a few pics that I just wanted to refresh my page with to make sure things still work on The FB. Happy 2026

Haven't posted on my page for a while, but this was a worthwhile cause. A friend of mine (Rocky McKinnon) and his team arranged for the Hearts for Sight Foundation to come to HB and take some surfing lessons. What's so special you ask? Well, these individuals were either totally blind or legally blind and and were willing to give surfing a shot. Rocky has been doing this for 3 years now I believe. It just so happened that you can't predict the waves or weather and this Sunday happened to be the biggest swell in a few months, easily 6' and growing so they stuck in closer to shore in the whitewater.

WARNING...There are a lot of photos but you can breeze through them quickly. I was just trying to tell a story of how brave these humans were and how talented and helpful and caring Rocky's team was. It was an honor to capture these photos. The yellow jerseys were the blind individuals and the blue jerseys were Rocky's team members.

Might as well add a few more from our whale watching trip with Newport Coastal Adventure last week. Looking for Orca's with Captain Dave, none spotted. Sea Lions, dolphin pods, and a gray whale. Great outing with good friends on our private 6 person Zodiac.

December 28, 2023. Secret Spot

Secret Spot was a wee bit crowded today. The end of Thanksgiving weekend with friends and not friends giving thanks (or something else) to each other. The lucky ones got waves to themselves.

Surfing is happening all week, and the Nitro Circus will be back over the weekend. Great surfing to watch, and absolutely insane stunts does.
