LCES Mighty Mustangs

Our Mighty Mustangs had their last day of school, and we ended the year with our traditional water sendoff! 💦 We hope all of our families have a safe, fun, and wonderful summer. Thank you for a great school year; we will see you again in August!

Our Mighty Mustangs celebrated all of their hard work this year with class parties this afternoon! Students enjoyed time with friends, delicious food, and lots of fun as we wrapped up an amazing school year together. Thank you to our families and staff for helping make the day so special. Only two more days of school, Mustangs! Finish strong!

The staff remain undefeated in the annual Staff vs. 5th grade kickball game!

On Tuesday, we welcomed back our former Mighty Mustangs who are graduating seniors in the Class of 2026! 🎓 They took one final walk through the halls of Long Creek, inspiring our current students and celebrating how far they’ve come. We are so proud of their accomplishments and know they will do great things in the future. Congratulations, Class of 2026!

Thank you to the Jordan Davis Foundation for supporting our staff during EOG testing! 💚🐴 Their generous donation of morning and afternoon snacks helped keep our team energized throughout testing week. We are grateful for your kindness and support of our Mighty Mustangs students and staff!

A huge thank you to our partners at Joe Gibbs Racing for treating all of our Mighty Mustangs and staff to soft-serve ice cream yesterday! 🍦 After a year of hard work and several days of testing, this sweet surprise was the perfect way to celebrate and recharge. The ice cream brought lots of smiles and a little extra energy to help us finish the school year strong. Thank you for your generosity and support! 🏁

🍩 Help our Mighty Mustangs raise some dough! Long Creek Elementary’s Krispy Kreme Fundraiser runs May 15–22. Students should check backpacks and folders for order forms and help support our school! Today, our Mighty Mustangs were excited to welcome Jordan Davis from the Philadelphia Eagles! Jordan shared the importance of hard work and perseverance and encouraged students to do their best on EOG tests. We are so thankful he took time to visit and inspire our students.
