In science this week we learned about the different types of clouds, what they’re made of and what each type means about the weather. We did a “cloud in a jar” experiment by filling a jar with water (air), adding shaving cream (cloud), and dropping colored water on top - the colored water saturates the “cloud” and falls through, demonstrating how rain works. The kiddos also collaborated to create their own class clouds!
Reminder, CLC is closed Friday April 3rd.

This week we had a very exciting visit from two therapy dogs, Jet & Gidget! The students learned about what a therapy dog is, how to take care of a dog and the difference between a service animal and a therapy dog. They also enjoyed spending time with & petting both dogs. 🐾

Over the past few weeks we have been learning all about the solar system in science on Wednesdays & Thursdays. See if your kiddo can tell you what planet we live on & how many planets are in our solar system. 🙂 We hope you have a wonderful Spring Break!
