💵Many people get into trucking without counting the cost. They were misinformed by the streets.
🚚Getting a new authority doesn’t mean that you are ready to run loads.
👨🦰Most brokers require that your authority is 6 months to 12 months old. Yep!
👩🦰There are some brokers who will allow new authority’s less than 3 months to run their loads.
🚛However, how often do these brokers post loads for your equipment type? It could be days or weeks.
⁉️So what does this mean? I’m glad you asked!
💰Simply put - you’re not making money and you still have to pay that note and that very expensive insurance.
📑Trust me I have receipts on this one!

For new carriers starting or considering getting into the trucking game, I highly recommend working with a dispatcher.
Many get into the game and do not count the cost - trucking is expensive.
You'll need someone on your team, that's looking and booking the best loads for you.
You'll also need someone who will give you the REAL if you are thinking about getting into the trucking business. If this is you, for sure we need to talk!
