🎙 New episode of SMECO Connects is now available: Prioritizing a Healthy Community
In this clip, Dr. Meenakshi (Menna) Brewster, health officer for St. Mary’s County Health Department, talks about key partnerships among the Health Department, St. Mary’s County Public Schools, and the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department. Through these partnerships, the Health Department opened two school-based health centers in Southern Maryland. During school hours, the centers serve students and staff from across St. Mary’s County. After hours, they are open to the entire community.
