Happy 1st Day of October!
Hoping for some Sweater Weather soon! (not cold weather please lol)

No updates for a couple days. Just catching up on ppw, plans, permits, designs for items, etc.. Pray for me 😆😭

Day 7: Operation Candy Shop
✅️ If you didn't notice, decided to change the colors on the logo for the Candy Shop. We want a different vibe than the drink trailer for events. Candy land feel vs our black/neon feel. What do y'all think?
✅️ Lowes AGAIN 😭
✅️ Stopped by for Jax a coffee, us Croissants 🤌🏼🤤 and me a drink (love them!! and support when I'm in the area without my drink) Both are So awesome & Sweet!
✅️ Cleaned up our paint mess from yesterday because I was too tired lol
✅️ Went to the other side of Houston to Shop for Displays/Counters. This way I can start Floorplan drawings for permits. 🙏🏻
✅️ Found Exactly what I imagined and ordered for delivery. Hoping in about 2wks 🙏🏻
✅️ Stopped in a random store and found these awesome buckets that will work perfectly and the blue, lavender and white match the theme Perfect!! 🥰
✅️ Costco Business for supplies for the drink trailer. 2 events this weekend.
✅️ Me and Jax's new tradition and treat for driving to Stafford😆.. Eating at Dog Restaurants 🤌🏼🤤💯👏🏻 Seriously, try it if you haven't!

Sorry for the late posts.. I may do posts in the morning of what happened the day before 🤔

Let me start by saying.. if a painter charges double to cover a dark color.. BELIEVE THEM!! 😮‍💨 I Hate painting, but saving $$ by DIY 👏🏻
Day 5:
✅️ Sheetrock repair completed (Beyond Thankful to our Amazing Regulars from our previous Huffman location that did an Amazing Job!)
✅️ Primer painted (on the pink 2 coats)
✅️ White Coat painted- still needs another coat and then the pink addition (revealing hoping tomorrow 😁🍭)
✅️ Business discussions and planning
✅️ Found Taffy Baskets 😁
✅️ Planned goals for tomorrow

Day 4:
Lowes for cleaning supplies,
paint picked out/bought, cleaned the outside windows, re-hung the banner outside,
sheetrock repair almost completed,
hunted for baskets for Taffy (no luck.. Yet),
Changed layout thoughts 1600x since I had it "figured out" yesterday 😂, and now home searching for more needed items online 😵‍💫 OH.. and had lunch at . The are there! Go support! Such sweet girls & ladies! 😊

Did you know that we started as an Online Candy Shop, only last year, while we waited for our Drink Trailer to be built and permitted?!

Here are some of the flashback photos and examples of how we will be different than your average mall Candy Shop! So much fun!
We will offer online ordering but So Beyond Excited that my over the top goal of opening a Candy Shop by end of 2026 is actually happening!! 🥹

Can't go without Thanking my husband, Stacy, for going along with my crazy ideas & pivots!
