Prettiest lake house great room I ever saw 💚 every detail in this space was over thought and it was well worth it.

Lake project part ✌️ Tore down a few walls and added a wet bar for additional storage. There’s also drawers beneath the bench seat and the decorative hutch serves as the pantry.

A few after and before shots of a lake project a few years ago. I’ll post more images in another post. This project was a great example of how opening up a footprint allows for better flow and use of the space. Kitchen, dining and sitting room are now all connected and 20+ people can be in this space comfortably 💚

Well folks, it’s time I bid adieu to the Lacquered Shack name. It took awhile for me to come to terms with the needed change but I need my businesses to be reflective of one another. That being said, I’d like to introduce you to the new name of my design studio, Elm Design. A sister company to Feather + Elm Shoppe💚 new logo is still in development but I’ll leave you with a great before and after shot of a recent kitchen remodel 😜

Oh hi!!! Just thought I’d stop in to say, I’m still here!!! Although I’m the absolute worst at documenting finished work and even worse at social media The Shack is alive and well!!! My newest motto is blessed and stressed 😝 If you’re a former or current client, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. If you’re trying to connect with me about a new project and I’m failing to return calls or texts, I apologize, but I don’t call my husband back either 😆🫣😬 But for real, I’m beyond grateful for the interest and if someone other than myself gets back to you requesting more info just know that I wish it were me and I hope to be able to take on new projects in a few months! And maybe start taking decent pics to post again 😉
