We worked with The Lagasse Group and Stern McCafferty Architects on this one-of-a-kind feature stair and steel and glass floors that span several stories as well as other metal features in this beautifully modernized Wellesley colonial home.

"By far the most noticeable feature inside the home is a multistory “spine” of blackened steel and glass, an assembly of floors, railings, and stair supports that extends from the basement all the way up to rooftop skylights. “It’s the crux of the design,” Stern says, “connecting the spaces together vertically and horizontally.” And, vitally, it allows natural light to pe*****te deep into the interior." - By Kyle Hoepner Boston Magazine

We are working hard on some final metalwork additions to our new Collaboration Room - a large space filled with samples of different types of metal, welds, finishes, glass and more along with displays of our team's beautiful creations! This space will be a gathering spot for collaborative meetings with our clients to inspire creativity and teamwork, helping bring their metal projects to life! Once this final space is complete, we will announce plans for our OPEN HOUSE in our new building - stay tuned!

This light and airy feature stair takes full advantage of the indoor/outdoor feeling with all of the natural light flowing in through the wall of windows. The open treads and horizontal rails in bright white allow the light to shine through and play off of the beautiful wood accents. It was our pleasure working with@flavinarchitects and to bring this amazing stair to life!

Remember this? Here's a look at the process of bringing this beautiful curved stair to life! Our talented detailers and fabricators did a great job and now our skilled installers are putting the stair in place on site. Great work everyone!

Our fabrication shop is officially up and running at full speed, and we’re getting settled into our new office space. Everything has been thoughtfully designed with collaboration in mind - a place where we can connect, create, and work even more closely with the clients and partners we value most. Check out this sneak peek at some of our new spaces… stay tuned for more!

It's been a busy couple of weeks as we have begun moving our fabrication shop in and are working to get everything set up & running! THANK YOU to our awesome team and all their hard work in making this move! Now just a bit more unpacking...

Meanwhile, new doors are hung and finish painting continues in the offices. Painting should wrap up so flooring can be installed by the end of this week. We are excitedly anticipating setting up this area soon!

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and here are a COUPLE more projects we have been showing some LOVE recently!

These exterior screens beautifully marry together galvanized black frames and custom copper panels that will hide the HVAC units on our clients rooftop deck in Boston, MA.

Also in process is a mono-stringer stair being clad in rift sawn white oak - a match-makers dream!

As weeks 4 & 5 have flown by, work is steadily progressing! The shop office ceiling joists are almost all in, material is on site and ready for work to start on the sound proof wall that will separate the shop from the offices, most of the office area has been prepped and primed for paint, and our detailing department has started getting some color on the walls!

Our team has been hard at work with some amazing projects lately! Here are just a few… an incredible curved stair is taking shape, steel pins are being machined, and a railing with uniquely shaped forged pickets is almost ready for paint!
