We wanted to share some new additions at Goats Garage. We have a new state of the art diagnostic system that helps diagnose those pesky check engine lights and ABS problems. It not only scans Harley’s but a broad range of motorcycles as well as Slingshots! We have become a dealer for Rabaconda motorcycle tire changers and we now dismount, mount and balance tires. We have also added another motorcycle lift that’s also portable. Our new Big Blue lift is great addition to our shop. So if you need your check engine light or ABS light diagnosed, need tires mounted and balanced, or you have your wheels off your bike and need your tires installed, wether it be a Harley or a sport bike, we have you covered. Good evening GOATaholics. We have been busy in the shop the last month. We had Rick from Hudson bring in his 05 Low Rider in for service & a leak in the primary. We had Kenny from Hudson bring in his 13 Road Glide in for rocker box gaskets, primary leak and new primary chain tensioner. Jack from Hudson brought in his 2024 TriGlide for a remote oil filter kit install. Jim Yattaw brought his 2022 Road Glide in for a 3 hole oil change, Shawn from Hudson brought in his 2022 Road Glide for a 3 hole oil change and Jody from Hudson brought in his 2022 Street Glide for a 3 hole oil change. Every bike gets a full safety inspection free of charge!

We are now dealers for S&S cycle, Fueling performance, Cycle Electric upgraded charging system products and Rabaconda motorcycle tire changers.

Good afternoon GOATaholics! We would like to thank Pat from Spring Hill Florida who brought in his 2020 Harley Tri Glide for lifter and pushrod replacement. He was experiencing a lazy lifter that would loose the oil prime and cause a ticking noise on start up. Upon removal of the lifters we found some scoring on the roller of the lifter that if not replaced could have damaged his camshaft and caused more damage internally to his engine. He took his bike to a Harley dealer for diagnosis and they told him, don’t worry about it until it gets worse! Not a good idea at all!! If you own a Harley with the newer M8 engine, it’s recommended to change out the lifters at 20,000 miles or before. Pats bike has 19,000 miles so it was definitely worth bringing his bike to us to get a second opinion. Good morning GOATaholics. We would like to thank Jon Kos from Spring Hill Florida for bringing us his 2009 Road Glide for some awesome performance upgrades. His bike came in blowing smoke out the exhaust and after some initial diagnostic tests found that the engine had high leakdown on the rear cylinder. Jon decided it was time to up the hp of the engine with a 110” S&S Big Bore kit, 585 EZ start cams, upgraded S&S cam plate and oil pump, also adding a Bassani 2 into 1 blackout exhaust and a new Barnett 10 disc performance clutch kit. This bike sounds amazing and it’s ready to head to the dyno to get the break in portion done and some performance tuning to make this bike rip down the highway! Good morning GOATaholics. Another busy week in the shop. Shoutouts to Dennis Kalkbrenner from New Port Richey, for bringing us his 2006 street glide for a stator and voltage regulator replacement. Also Jeff Bohrer from Hudson, had his 2005 Road King in our shop for new tires, brake fluid flushing and a full service. Please remember that your brake fluid needs to be flushed out every 2 years to get the condensation out of the brake system. Condensation causes rust and corrosion in the brake calipers and will affect proper brake operation. Good morning GOATaholics! We hope y’all have recovered from the Thanksgiving holiday. We have been busy in the shop the last month taking care of some beautiful bikes! Thank you to Dave Ashby for bringing Sylvia in for her spa treatment as she is looking hood as new now! Also thank you to Marty St Thomas for bringing in his 2016 Street Glide in for a complete charging system upgrade. We also did a rear suspension upgrade on our house bike and installed a pair of Suspension Technologies rear coil over shocks. These are made right here in Largo Florida andcome with a lifetime warranty!
Please remember in cooler weather, check your sir pressure in your tires and air shocks.
