Six custom Almost Nothing Pendants for upstairs dining room we made this summer 💡❤️ made of bent, welded and powdercoated steel rod and stretched w vintage white blouses — I love how the layered fabrics and seams create almost a stained glass like pattern across the illuminated form- currently sketching more forms for almost nothing lamps in 2026 and have some Deadstock fabric sourcing to do 😜 reach out to discuss customs , the skies the limit w this steel rod / fabric combo forms , I really enjoy making these :)

So glad to finally share this summertime 2025 collaborative piece between & that is now showing .hudson within curated section :))

It’s this guys birthday ! Aka , sweetheart, Husbo, playmate, wild man! I appreciate Brett for his balance of extremely energized for fun having & hard work but then equally sleepy and sincere. Such a good dad such a good partner in this life — hope you enjoy the Turkish Delights and California Burrito (my gift to him this morning) , you deserve all the treats, we love you! X

Long overdue collaboration alert! Over the course of 2025 artist friends Annie Bielski & Elise McMahon created a body of work combining their skills, sensibilities, and interests in light, opacity, play, and material exploration, resulting in three wall sconces. Each piece combines the bent steel glowing forms of McMahon and bold painted textures of Bielski, alongside fused glass, both *virgin & recycled.* A collaboration rooted in trust and joy.

This is Queen Conch, the first of the collection, that we are thrilled to debut at In Praise of Folly curated by with sceneography by at this year’s Sept 4-7. Hope to see you there! + stayed tuned for info on where to see other works from the collection in the coming weeks.

Honored to be featured alongside Renee C Neblett aka 🩷 Auntie 🩷 and the whole .institute team in Financial Times London today (in digital and print!) .

Thank you to for highlighting this decade long collaboration I have been lucky enough to have with Auntie and for sharing the complex and inspiring larger story of the work she (Renee\Auntie) has been accomplishing for the last 30+ years as an artist and educator concerned w social and environmental wellbeing. Here’s a little thing I said about her ill pull from the article…

“It will take teams of people bringing all their strengths to the table to heal this world,” says McMahon. “It requires a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, and Auntie Renée’s role as an educator has allowed her to support growing minds who will go into a range of fields informed by the ethos of the Institute.”
