โ€œOne day you will come to realization that you deserve to love yourself: on your good days, on your bad days, and on all the in-between days. You will realize that despite what you used to look like, despite what you look like now, despite who you have been, who you are and who you will be, you deserve love.

One day you will come to the conclusion that your self worth is not and should not be defined by your size, your weight, your mistakes, your past, your femininity. You are you, that is your power. No matter what your mind will tell you, no matter what others have told you, no matter what society has engraved within your mind:ย You are enough and you are worthy of love.

Once you come to the realization that your body is a temple, it is yours to have and to hold; your body is good, it is strong, it is powerful; your body tells a story, it is a masterpiece, not a work of art. You are whole already as you are. Own your body. Rock your body. Love the skin that you are in: it is yours, forever.

I have bad days, too. I struggle some days with body image and I struggle some days with society expectations. But I also own the powerhouse that I am. I acknowledge my beauty and I am thankful and happy to have a body that allows me to do the things that I love. I am grateful to have a body that allows me to do insanely awesome things. I know that I am enough, as I am, and I will always be enough.

Self-love is a roller coaster, it is a journey. But it is a beautiful, crazy ride. Hold on tight. Give yourself a hug. Stop picking yourself apart so much: you are enough, who you are is enough, your body is enough.โ€
