Boys competed well this weekend down in Indiana. Faced some top teams and held our own, going 2–2. Had a 9-inning battle against Indiana Bulls Grey to reach the semifinals, but unfortunately ran out of gas.

Kaden Barkholz went 4 giving up 2 earned, striking out 9, and walking 0. Game two was against Bulls black and we took the loss 6-2. Tomorrow we kick off our first practice with an awesome group of boys. Couldn’t be more excited to get back to work!! This team is built for Sunday!

What a ride this year has been! Our first season at the AAA level is officially in the books, and these boys made a serious statement — finishing with a 38-12-2 record (84-23-3 over the last two seasons)and 5 tournament championships:

🏆 Fall Tournaments in Ohio (2x Champs)
🏆 Legacy Presidents Day Challenge
🏆 Kerwin Classic
🏆 PG Great Lakes World Series – beat the #3 team in Indiana!

We also battled to a Runner-Up finish in the USSSA Cinco de Mayo tournament and made it to the semifinals in 3 other events — just shows how competitive we were week in and week out.

On defense, we set a team goal of 75 runners caught — and ended with 69. Huge testament to our defense and attention to detail.

The highlight of the summer had to be Cooperstown — going 5-1 and making unforgettable memories together. That trip was special!

More than anything, this team learned how to win close games, stay composed under pressure, and believe in each other no matter the score. We proved that we can hang with anyone, and we’re only just getting started.

Beyond proud of this group — and after a short break, we’ll be right back to work, hungry for an even bigger 13U season ahead. Let’s go!
