You don't have to put a camera through a fence or sneak past any signs to get images like this through a fence. You just have to know how to work the camera you are using. Give it a try the next time you are at a zoo or animal rehab center. Without disturbing the animals by getting too close or even encroaching on their space at all, beautiful images can still be captured, even from a distance.
When visiting these animals, be respectful of the signage and rules placed by the people that care for them. This shouldn't be about getting the perfect photo but instead respecting nature and their majesty.

Lake Superior Rocks!
Like, literally....and for real. Those are Lake Superior Rocks.
If you look closely you might see a beacon too!
I love seeing all of Michigan and am planning my next trips. Where should I go or what should I do next?

The road into Mud Lake State Forest Campground really lived up to it's name!
I arrived on a rainy day to explore this State Park only to find dirt roads with mud...not just any mud...the kind that you have to have a tall vehicle to get through.
With the Jeep in gear, my husband and I had a lot of fun reaching our final location next to the water to take this shot. The Jeep was dripping mud and definitely needed a good wash especially since we were on our way to an event when we decided to take this impromptu adventure.
When you have extra time in your travels, I can't think of a better way to spend it than to explore a State Park!

Sault Ste. Marie is known for the Soo Locks (in the distance in this photo) but there are a lot of other things to see as well. This particular ship was massive, so the drone was the way to capture the entire thing successfully

Fayette State Park is located in Michigan's Garden Peninsula. This ghost town is now a 'museum village' which allows visitors the ability walk through these historic buildings and learn the history of the area.

Happy Earth Day!
The more I explore, the more I realize just how beautiful this place is. Let today be a reminder that we need to care for it, cherish it and protect it so we can continue to enjoy the gifts it gives to us for generations to come. š³

Arizona gave me some beautiful sunsets but I am happy to be back in Michigan to walk in the grass, hear the water float by and be surrounded by trees.
Everyplace is beautiful, but Michigan is home. š
Pic of Arizona because it was pretty amazing
