🌼🐝 Wrapped up a beautiful project this week — planting a 2‑acre wildflower plot for a customer looking to boost honey production.

This mix is loaded with high‑nectar blooms that will keep the pollinators busy all season long. It’s going to be a magnet for bees, butterflies, and color. Projects like this don’t just look good — they make a real impact for habitat and honey flow.

Just wrapped up planting 11 acres of switchgrass across two properties. The added structure and reduced sightlines are really going to tighten up that daytime deer movement. These were honestly two of the best hunting properties I’ve had the chance to work on. Excited to see how they hunt this fall.

This is why I am talking customers out of planting HD screen yet ( next 2 weeks ) in the upper 3rd of the country. It’s been way too cold and the soil temps are not ready.

Just wrapped up a project installing a miscanthus screen to protect access to hunting blinds, and the difference it makes will be huge. A tall, dense wall of miscanthus keeps your entry and exit completely hidden, cuts down pressure, and lets deer stay relaxed and unbothered.

This setup will pay off all season long — quiet access, better movement, and a blind that stays “invisible.”

Projects like this take time to mature, but they’re the kind of improvements that truly transform a property’s layout and overall habitat quality. Always a great feeling getting another step in the ground.

Finished several evergreen plantings over the past week. Each one is designed to build privacy, visual screening, and a cleaner, more structured look across the landscape. It’s great seeing these projects come together and knowing they’ll only get better with time.

Phase one of “sprucing up” this driveway is complete. Each year we’ll plant more trees until the whole drive is lined with them.
