I wanted to take a day and gather my thoughts about the passing of DJ Dan. Like so many of you, Dan was a staple in my listening rotation during my early raver years and beyond. He was a master at his craft that had the ability to not only move dancefloors, but people as well. He moved people to dance and free themselves in the moment, but in doing that moved them to create bonds and friendships that would last years beyond those moments on the dance floor.

It wasn't until years later when I was throwing my own events that I would have the opportunity to not only enjoy seeing him once again but bring him to our own event to perform. The night we brought him to Gravity for The Department of Dance's house event, Boogie Nights, it was special for so many reasons, but the biggest was that he was not only every bit the legend we all remembered, but a really great human being as well.

I am forever grateful for having experienced Dan as a party goer, as a DJ, and as a person.

RIP.

SO GLAD I WAITED TILL FIXED THEIR LIBRARY EXPORT 😅😅😅!

Latest rekordbox update automatically exports your s**t to BOTH "One Library" and the old legacy library format so your stuff works on all the new devices (Opus Quad, 3000X etc) and anything older (regular 3000s, XZ, etc).

Just did a test playlist export and it works on my 3000Xs and my XZ 😊

Got tired of waiting lol. is still a couple more weeks from getting back from my homies shop but I wanted to at least FINALLY try out my new gear that's literally been sitting unopened for months 😅😅😅
