I wrote “Ain't For Me” amid a summer heatwave, the lyrics pouring out of me in what felt like one exhale. The track is about a Black American family who leaves home for another country.

A guy tweeted, "How bout a remix of 's Gambling Man? Huh, how bout it?" and I love Blockhead's production, so I chimed in. Blockhead and I started chatting. Found out we're both named Tony, and it was on. I sent him "Ain't for Me," he said the song was great, and a day later, he had a remix. Can you believe that? Who works that fast? Blockhead crazy.
