DiverseWorks is excited to partner with Untitled Art, Houston, for its second edition, taking place October 2–4, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, with a VIP and Press Preview on Thursday, October 1. The fair will bring together 99 international galleries, along with engaging VIP and public programming.

As part of the citywide programming, DiverseWorks and Untitled Art, Houston invite you to celebrate the opening of Overflow Radio: Šakotayišol Nunuš Constellation on October 3, from 5-9 PM. In collaboration with Good Music Medicine Festival, the evening will begin with a concert from 5-7 PM, followed by the Overflow Radio: Šakotayišol Nunuš Constellation opening reception from 7-9 PM. Both events will take place in the exhibition space at DiverseWorks Gallery @ MATCH. Light refreshments will be served.

Developed in collaboration with Emily Johnson / Catalyst and local Indigenous and Native Heritage artists, Overflow Radio: Šakotayišol Nunuš Constellation continues through Oct 24 and includes talks, skill-shares, listening sessions, gatherings, an exhibition, and performances. The exhibiting artists are Aveda Adara, Chiara “Sunshine” Beaumont, Christie “Chichi” Chafoya, Karen Navarro, Aryn Ward, and Monica Villarreal, with additional participating artists and community partners. Join DiverseWorks for the opening of Overflow Radio: Šakotayišol Nunuš Constellation on Saturday, October 3, from 5-9 PM.

Developed in collaboration with Emily Johnson / Catalyst and local Indigenous and Native Heritage artists, the exhibition and related programming continue through October 24 at the DiverseWorks Gallery @ MATCH, 3400 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002.

The project includes talks, skill-shares, listening sessions, gatherings, an exhibition, and performances, featuring exhibiting artists Aveda Adara, Chiara “Sunshine” Beaumont, Christie “Chichi” Chafoya, Karen Navarro, Monica Villarreal, and Aryn Ward, with additional participating artists and community partners.

In conjunction with Emily Johnson / Catalyst’s world premiere of Overflow Radio in Mni Sóta Makoce (Minneapolis), we will gather in person in Šakotayišol Nunuš or “Bear Creek Town” (Houston) to listen to twelve First Nations and Indigenous authors, poets, and scholars live-broadcasting from their home territories and First Nations over 24 non-consecutive hours from October 9–12.
