A WORD TO THE CHURCH:
THE MISSING MINISTRY
For more than fifty years, I have watched a quiet but significant gap in the modern chruch--one that affects vision, outreach, financial strength, and the maturity of entire congregations. We preach to families, we disciple students, we minister to marriages, and we provide support for reovery, worship, children, and prayer. But one strategic group has often been overlooked:
ENTREPRENEURS.
Business owners. Job creators. Leaders carrying the weight of payroll, production, people, pressure, and spiritual influence in the marketplace.
We celebrate their giving but rarely disciple their gifting.
We applaud their generosity but seldom develop their leadership.
We benefit from their success but often fail to pastor their calling.
And yet, these are the individuals who have the opportunity to impact more people on Monday than most churches meet on Sunday.
THE CHURCH'S UNINTENTIONAL BLIND SPOT
Most pastors were trained to preach, teach, counsel, and shepherd--and they exel beautifully in thses areas. But few received training in how to disciple entrepreneurs, understand business realities, or equip Kingdom leaders to carry Christ into the marketplace.
As a result, entrepreneurs often sit in our pews with unanswered questions:
How do I hear God in high-pressure decisions?
How do I lead people with Kingdom integrity?
How do I navigate growth, risk, and responsibility as a believer?
How do I balance excellence with rest?
How do I understand generosity and stewardship as part of my calling?
When the church does not disciple entrepreneurs, the world gladly will, and the world is a poor teacher.
THE REALITY IN MOST CHURCHES
Most congregations offer robust ministries for nearly every age and stage of life---except entrepreneurs. While statistics vary, surveys consistently reveal that structured support and discipleship for business leaders is missing in the vast majority of churches, even though:
* Entrepreneurs often provide significant portion of church financial resources
* They influence thousands of people weekly in the marketplace
* Their decisions shape the culture of entire communities
When this group is not discipled, the church loses influence.
When this group is discipled, the Kingdom advances.
WHY THIS BOOK 'KINGDOM BUSINESS' MATTERS
This book was shaped for one reason:
To help the Church disciple its entrepreneurs, and to help entrepreneurs discover their Kingdom calling.
If your church invests in its entrepreneurs:
* Generosity will rise.
* Leadership will strengthen
* Outreach will expand
* Culture will mature
* Vision will accelerate
* The Gospel will reach places it has never gone.
This is not optional, this is strategic. This is essential for the future of Kingdom focused church.
FINAL WORD TO PASTORS AND LEADERS
Your entrepreneurs are not just givers.
They are leaders.
They are innovators.
They are problem solvers.
They are influencers in the heart of your city.
They need your voice.
They need your shepherding.
They need community.
The need discipleship.
They need a place to grow spiritually in the same area where they carry the greatest responsibility--the marketplace. If the church will equip its entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs will expand the reach of the church.
The harvest is not only in the sanctuary--it is in the boardroom, the shop floor, the job site, the leadership meeting, the negotiation table, and every place where God has positioned His people to lead.
It is time for the church to disciple the builders, so the builders can disciple the world.

BUILT TO PROSPER WITH GOD
"He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper" Psalm 1:3
As a Christian entrepreneur, you are not building your business alone. God planted you--strategically, purposefully---beside the "rivers of water," meaning His unlimited supply. Prosperity in the Kingdom is not about luck or timing; it's about staying rooted in God's presence and principles.
When you build from a place of spiritual stability, you develop resilience, clarity, and divine favor. Challenges will come, but your "leaf will not wither." You won't dry up emotionally, financially, or spiritually because your source is not the economy---it's God Himself.
This Scripture reminds you that fruit is seasonal, meaning growth is a process. Celebrate progress. Honor small beginnings. Trust the timing. And above all, keep God at the center of every meeting, decision, and goal.
When your roots stay in Him, prosperity becomes the natural outcome of obedience, diligence, and faith.
