Pleasant morning to us all for making yesterday great in our family. My sincere appreciation to all who made it possible.....in all situation we give thanks.

Brethren kindly let us note as announced that February 22nd 2023 will be 25yrs since our dear grandmother answered the glorious call.....for now let it be known that the family will have thanksgiving in the Cathedral during 10am service.....any other will be known in due course.

Wow! this amazing……i never knew #ewedu is up to this. It is so green.
What a day for us to harvest our #organicewedu from the farm today. The secret of successful harvest was based on our #plantainpeels #waste  which was used as a #fertiliser with good #irrigation system put in place to grow the #jute #leaves. Then we ended up sun drying them as part of our experiment since we cannot afford #solar #drying for now😍.

Ewedu (Cochorus olitorius) is one of those green leafy vegetables rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. It contains loads of #iron, #calcium, #sodium, #phosphorus, #potassium, #proteins, fibers, #Vitamins A, C and E, #riboflavin, #niacin and #folate. These are nutrients that help the body fight diseases and maintain good health.
Popularly known as jute mallow in English, Ewedu is one of the Yorubas’ cuisines that is widely cultivated as vegetable.
Stabilize blood pressure
Omega 3 content in Ewedu is useful in normalizing blood pressure when consumed. Disorders of the body such as dizziness can sometimes be caused by high blood pressure.
Prevent aging Ewedu is very good to keep skin stay young because it contains vitamins that are very important as an antioxidant. Essential fatty acids in Ewedu can keep skin moist.
