Day 4: Strength for the Journey
Reading: Psalm 16:5-11
Devotional: "In Your presence is fullness of joy" declares the psalmist. The joy of the Lord isn't merely happiness; it's supernatural strength that carries us through dark valleys. This divine joy comes from intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit's active presence within us. When circumstances threaten to steal your smile, remember that joy is a fruit of the Spirit, not a product of your situation. God's presence transforms our perspective, allowing us to praise even when we don't feel like it. This week, cultivate joy by spending time in God's presence through prayer and worship. Let the Holy Spirit remind you of reasons to rejoice: you are loved, forgiven, and never alone.

Day 3: Humble Service, Divine Joy
Reading: John 13:1-17
Devotional: Jesus demonstrated revolutionary service by washing His disciples' dusty feet—the task of the lowest servant. He showed that true greatness comes through humble service performed with joy. When we serve without comparing ourselves to others or seeking recognition, we reflect Christ's heart. The servant is not greater than the master; if Jesus could kneel before His disciples, we can embrace any assignment God gives us. Serving joyfully means doing even menial tasks as unto the Lord, with a smile that flows from the Spirit within. Today, look for one opportunity to serve humbly—in your home, workplace, or church—and do it with genuine joy, knowing you're serving Christ Himself.

Day 2: Trusting Through Opposition
Reading: Nehemiah 4:1-23
Devotional: Nehemiah faced fierce opposition while rebuilding Jerusalem's walls, yet he persevered because he trusted God's assignment. When enemies seek to discourage the work God has begun in you, remember that no devil can stop what God has ordained. Trust isn't passive wishful thinking—it's active confidence that God will complete His purposes. The builders worked with tools in one hand and weapons in the other, symbolizing both faithful work and spiritual vigilance. What opposition are you facing today? God who began a good work in you will carry it through to completion. Stand firm, serve faithfully, and let your trust in God become your testimony to others watching your journey.
