Stand out in a crowded market with professional staging tips🌱 Buyers need to be able to imagine themselves in your home, so let’s declutter and simplify before your realtor takes photos.
Remove excess to show your ample closet space, fix DIY jobs, and more, to make your house shine for all the right reasons 🌱

Feeling exhausted after a trip? Neglecting the reset makes it worse. Digging through your bag looking for the shoes you need for work or the loose eyeliner you tossed in at the last minute. Not counting the suitcase laundry when mentally tallying what needs to be washed. Putting off dry cleaning or ironing your good clothes, which means they won’t be wearable when you need them next.
Do yourself a favor and reset. Vacations help you recharge and refocus, but only if you take ten minutes and set everything right when you come home. Stepping over that still full suitcase every morning does not lead to a refreshed outlook, it’s unnecessary friction.
Decluttering and organizing take the dread out of putting things away. You won’t need to cram things into an overstuffed closet or get creative to fit your skincare back in the vanity. Everything has a neat and tidy home to return to, just like you 🌱

I love what I do! You are not boring, you are unique. Your stuff isn’t tedious, it requires your focus. You aren’t messy, you just need some help clearing clutter and creating systems that work.
I love learning new things from my clients. Did you know you can buy a lightsaber that looks just like a movie prop for $800? Or that heavily starched cowboy jeans cannot be re-hung after the dry cleaner - they don’t bend until you shake them out to put them on. Or that some Dysons can run on a power tool battery?
No matter how many homes I visit, there is always something new and special 💚
Professional organizers start their day like everyone else - with a little controlled chaos. Having a calm and orderly morning routine helps me arrive open and supportive for my clients, especially on an emotional day sorting family heirlooms. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes the chaos creeps in anyway. I know my home is easy to reset when things get crazy because I don’t have a lot of clutter and I have systems in place that function well. Decluttering and organizing isn’t just about the visual WOW, it’s about reducing daily friction so you can find moments of joy even on your busiest days.

I do like product, I swear! It’s just not what makes the project worthwhile. Decluttering and organizing is the goal. Some product is really helpful to keep things tidy, or extend your storage in small spaces, etc. but the value is in the declutter and sort, not the bins. Declutter first. Then organize. Then measure for product. Test drive if possible, THEN commit and outfit a space. Don’t squander your investment by rushing to purchase a storage system that doesn’t really work for you.

If you aren’t there to declutter, you’re not getting maximum value from your organizer. Sure, it’s great to come home to a finished product, but it’ll be hard to find your stuff since it’s been shuffled and rehomed, and if you don’t declutter, you just end up with professionally organized clutter.
With that said, there are some incredibly busy people who just need to have their kids’ closets reset with clothes that actually fit, and when they try and do it themselves, the kids make it impossible. Sometimes outsourcing the whole project is the only option.
We can always add bins and labels, but the true value comes from the decluttering phase. Being present and motivated is most of the battle, so once you get there, a pro will guide you the rest of the way 💚

Moving soon? Or have a kitchen that just doesn’t flow? I used a real client’s new kitchen to explain how I’d set her up for success to get meals on the table fast. Intentional, thoughtful organizing (after you declutter!) makes all the difference. I take my cues from professional chefs, who designate zones of work to maximize efficiency and timely output.

The only prep is mental - think about your goals, what you’re struggling with, and what will reduce the friction in your daily life. How can transforming your space move you closer to your ideal lifestyle?
Don’t hide your mess, and don’t buy organizing supplies. How can you buy containers if you don’t know what you’re storing? Declutter first, organize second 💚

Do you need to see everything you own, or calm the visual clutter? A lot of my local Houston clients are “out of sight, out of mind” thinkers. If they check the pantry and don’t immediately see rice, their brain says, “buy rice.” Others get a sense of calm from clashing labels being concealed in a basket or opaque bin.
The final look is important, but what’s more important is function. Don’t let things expire or over-purchase because you’ve made your pantry too confusing. Simple is best, and the baskets look cool, but product adds up fast, and ending up with a system that causes food waste is just more cost.
I recommend clients try one of each in similar categories (zero points for binning the holiday sprinkles in July for a test drive - it needs to be a daily category) and see how they like it. A couple bins won’t break the bank, but a walk-in pantry full of product can give you sticker shock. Better make sure you’re getting a system that helps ease the friction in your every day life for that money 💚
