All of the emotions I felt while reading these romantasy books… meme edition (of course 😂). I haven’t done one of these in forever & I truly don’t feel like I could’ve gotten more accurate with some of these 🤣☠️
Absolutely OBSESSED with The Gilded Page in Friendswood, TX. If you live in Houston and haven’t checked it out yet you absolutely need to! It was so beautiful inside, the perfect cozy vibes, and not to mention it had a coffee bar AND wine bar?! What could be better??
The owner was an absolute sweetheart & I can definitely say I will be coming back time and time again 💜✨📚

I absolutely LOVED Shadowbound and I already need book 2. Like… immediately. 😅
This book doesn’t ease you into the story. It hits the ground running. You quite literally are thrown into the story where you start with the FMC walking to her own ex*****on and let me tell you… if you want a book that’s going to hook you from the very first page, this is how you do it. I was invested from the start and it never let up. It had me flipping through pages faster than I could keep up!
An easy five ⭐️ read for me and I genuinely cannot wait to see where this story goes next.

It’s finally time 🦋
After so many months of telling myself I’ll get around to it, I finally decided to buddy read The Knight and The Moth by Rachel Gillig with Abbi 💜✨
So far this is a very fun & different book than what I expected. I went into it completely blind and being someone who was obsessed with One Dark Window, I’m so curious to see where it goes! Have you read The Knight and The Moth? Leave a comment below!

This book doesn’t ease you into the story. It hits the ground running. You quite literally are thrown into the story where you start with the FMC walking to her own ex*****on and let me tell you… if you want a book that’s going to hook you from the very first page, this is how you do it. I was invested from the start and it never let up. It had me flipping through pages faster than I could keep up!
Before I get into my review I have to say, can we take a moment to appreciate that the FMC is 30? FINALLY!!!! 🙏 Because as a fellow thirty-something… THANK YOU. 😂 It was so refreshing to read about an FMC who actually felt relatable and not a teenager. You had actual adult conversations and relationship dynamics and I was here for it.
And then we have the two MMCs…
One is dark, broody, mysterious, shadow vampire daddy energy with major “who did this to you?” vibes. The other is all duty, strength, and carrying the weight of a kingdom on his shoulders while trying to do what’s right. There were so many moments where I couldn’t decide who I liked more… and then things start happening. 😅 I’ll leave it there because you really need to read it for yourself.
The whole book filled my need for a vampire summer and had all of the best vibes. It was intense, dark, eerie, magical, and so fast paced that I kept saying “just one more chapter”… and suddenly it was way past my bedtime and I was trying to keep my eyes open 😂
AND THE PLOT TWIST. 🤯🤯
I don’t think I’ve gasped that loud at a book in a long time. I literally had to stop and process what I had just read.
