Hello lovelies!!! Happy Pride Month from me and everyone at HWC :-).

In two days, on June 19 at 6:30 PM, it will be our honor to host yet another open mic at Brazos () with featured readers Chase Shriver () and Keridwyn Matthys! See slides 2 and 3 for their respective bios.

After our lovely featured readers share their work, we will open the stage for y’all to share what you’ve been writing. I hope to see you there to celebrate both Pride and our work

Hello, happy May, and happy Friday lovely people! This is open mic host Caelan () here, and I have some exciting news to share with y’all :).

In two weeks, HWC is honored to welcome as part of our reading series and to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. On the 15th of May, Public Poetry director Vo Duc Quang () will provide remarks before the featured Adam Mac () and Chankrisna Tea () share their work. Following this will be the open mic, featuring your voices ^-^!

This event will be held at Brazos Bookstore (2421 Bissonnet St.) and will last from 6 to 8 PM. I hope to see everyone’s kind souls and look forward to hearing what you got for us. See you there!
