Uncommon Colors is more than just an organization, we wish to take peoples hobbies and ways of life and promote these talents. We seek talents from individuals spanning from poetry, to art. Some of the other things we look for are: Hip Hop rappers, producers, or even people who are interested in being involved in these types of arts, people who paint, draw, do photography and photo/video editing.

Having a lot of fun making these . This weeks featured artist is . VISUALLYQUEZZ is a lifestyle/skate photographer from the greater Houston area, and based on some of this pictures in the carousel an awesome photographer at that. His inspiration comes from Atiba Jefferson & Matt Price. Here’s some of the answers to some questions we asked him!
Do you think you live in a good place to be an artist or is there somewhere else you think would be more beneficial?
Quezz: The Los Angeles skate scene is the #1 in the world to me. Houston is cool but maybe someday I’ll give it a shot.
Is the artistic life lonely? What do you do to counteract it?
Quezz: At times it is. I love kicking it with the homies but when I’m editing and working on my own I get by on my own and I really don’t mind it.
Make sure to follow for more dope shots and follow for more dope art from dope artists.

Hi All and welcome to our latest weekly Series “Uncommon Creatives”. In this serious we talk to creative people from all sorts of mediums about their work and the directions they see themselves heading in.
For our first Artist we have chosen !
Monika is an artist who loves folklore, nature, creepy crawlies, and magic. She was inspired to start making art by using her internal feelings of solitude as a form of escapism into creating truly unique and engaging artwork. Check out her dope art, our dope new design style, and some of her answers to our Uncommon Questions!
Is the artistic life lonely? What do you do to counteract it?
Monika: I don't think it has to be lonely. I see a lot of people who connect to others through art in one way or another. I have pretty severe social anxiety, so I'm not including myself in that. I do feel like art has connected me to a lot of cool people online, but I'm probably never going to be very social in real life.
What role do you think the artist has in society?
Monika: I think that every artist has a different role in society. Some artists are really good at making people see magic in the world, some artists are great at getting important messages to people through their art, others can just make people really happy. I could go on. A good short answer might just be "making people feel things."
