REPRESENTATION MATTERS! 🤎
My son is a mixed little boy with long curly hair and my biggest issue is finding representation for him. Even if I found darker versions, long hair in boys is rare or vice versa.
Have you ever noticed African American versions of images seem like they just darken the image instead of just the skin color? It's odd.
This is a huge issue that has smacked me in my face the more I do events. After a lot of practice with trial & error, I merge their favorite character with their looks, whatever that is!
