How I fell in love with wool

In 2007 I began experimenting with synthetic felt I bought at a crafty store, but I quickly found that it did not stand up to the everyday wear and tear of the everyday use for myself or the young children I nannied. Two months later, while visiting my sister, she took me to a local yarn and waldorf craft store and the shelves of color of the pure 100% merino wool felt...well, I never turned back.

set my etsy to vacation, but never fear! I shall return in august with a fully loaded colorful fun packed shop. In the meantime, in the portland area you can come find my wallets, play food, booties, barrettes and brooches at collect craft in the st johns neighborhood (just off lombard, next to crow and across from the children's relief nursery ♥
