Inside every Collaborative for Children early learning Centers of Excellence classroom is a highly trained educator, research-based curriculum, and intentional learning that builds critical skills during the most important years of brain development (0-5 years). Children in our Centers of Excellence are gaining the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life.
Research suggests that students can lose up to three months of reading skills and one month of math skills if they do not practice those skills over the summer. Here are five creative ways to prevent the and keep those young minds sharp.

Collaborative for Children is excited to announce a new Request for Proposals for Facility, Safety, and Security Improvements supporting early childhood education centers across Greater Houston.
We are seeking qualified vendors with experience in:
Facility repairs and upgrades (flooring, painting, structural improvements)
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services
Fencing, gates, and security systems
Playground surfacing and equipment installation
Concrete, drainage, and site improvements
Lighting and general safety enhancements
This is a multi-service opportunity, and vendors may submit proposals for one or more service areas based on their expertise.
