We are truly saddened to learn of the passing of poet, writer, scholar, and friend Ryan Bollenbach. Ryan was a 2023 Inprint Donald Barthelme Prize Winner in Fiction, former managing editor of Gulf Coast, author of the chapbook "letters from a strange land," and cherished friend of many in the University of Houston Creative Writing Program and beyond. He will be deeply missed and remembered with great affection.
