Region Clinic!
On Friday, CLIS hosted the North Zone Region Band Clinic for Region 17. It was truly amazing watching these talented young musicians put together a whole concert program in one day. We had 5 students who qualified to play in the Region 17 North Zone Region Band from an audition in October. Thank you to Aaron Brown of Dawson High School and Rachelle Isaacson of Cinco Ranch Junior High for working with our amazing CCISD musicians and spending the day with us!

This past Saturday, students from the CLIS Band Program auditioned for an opportunity to play in the Region 17 North Zone All-Region Band.

The following 3 students qualified to perform in the Region 17 Concert Band on November 14th.
Nora Merlan - Euphonium
Ram Hgnak - Euphonium
Cade Grotzinger - Tuba

The following 7 students qualified for District Band:
Ethan Garcia Zhinin - Flute
Isabella Grissom- Clarinet
Evan LeCompte - Trombone
Josiah Davis - Trombone
Ezekiel Limon - Tuba
Rhett Phillips - Tuba
