When someone you love starts forgetting things more often, it can be hard to know what is normal and what needs more attention.

Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month is a reminder to pay attention to changes in memory, mood, or daily habits. These changes can be hard to talk about, but bringing them up with a doctor can help you understand what may be going on.

If you notice changes in yourself or someone you care for, talk with a doctor about the next steps.

Texas heat can sneak up on you fast, especially when you are outside, running errands, or spending time with your family.

Staying hydrated helps your body stay cool and can help prevent headaches, dizziness, and feeling too tired. Try to:

> Keep water with you during the day
> Drink before you feel thirsty
> Take breaks in the shade
> Eat water-rich foods like watermelon, oranges, or cucumbers
> Limit sugary drinks when you can

If you feel lightheaded, confused, or very weak in the heat, get to a cool place and call your doctor or 911 if it feels serious.

Men’s Health Month is a reminder that taking care of your health is not something to put off.

When life gets busy, it can be easy to skip checkups or ignore changes in how you feel. Annual wellness visits, health screenings, and talking with your doctor can help catch concerns early and keep you informed.

If something feels different, do not wait. Checking in with your doctor is one way to take care of yourself and the people who count on you.

World No To***co Day raises awareness about the health risks of to***co and the support available to help people quit.

When you are used to reaching for a cigarette during stress or after a long day, it can feel hard to imagine doing things differently.

Quitting to***co is not easy, but support can help. Finding new ways to manage stress, talking with your doctor about options, and having a plan can make the process feel more possible.

If you are thinking about quitting, even taking the first step matters. You do not have to do it alone.
