We are excited to congratulate Charlotte Wiesenthal on 5 years of service with us as an escrow assistant (3 years) and escrow officer (2 years). She has learned much about title and the headaches that people create by not handling their probates properly. We look forward to the years ahead!
We are excited for her, but saddened for us, to announce our assistant Dulce Alonso has been accepted to the Fall 2026 1L class at our alma mater, South Texas College of Law.
Need to probate in Harris County a foreign language, foreign probated Will that needed to be translated and apostilled in order to deal with US based assets? Pam and Kathleen have each handled one such matter this year. Kathleen's client was the "partner" in a Spanish speaking country but there were US based assets that also needed to be dealt with. Pam's client was the daughter of a citizen of Greece where the Greek citizen had a Will that dealt with his Greek-based assets, but nothing for his US-based assets. Adds extra layers to the situation, but we can get it done!

We are pleased to serve our public duty. Today Kathleen Wiesenthal appeared for jury duty service and has been placed on a voir dire panel for the "juvenile justice system". We await updates to see if she will be on the final jury panel....
Sometimes title files are hard. Sometimes there are multiple owners. 4.5 years and 25 owners later.... we are obtaining signatures for a closing.
