Dance your way into a more confident you!

The older I get, the more vulnerable and open I become. I’m grateful for God’s provision through every season of my life.

At a young undisclosed age 😝, I had my career, my first home, my man, and a baby on the way. Statistically, my life was “on track”… but life changed.

Being a single mom has been one of the most challenging, humbling, and rewarding journeys for me. There are so many lessons you learn along the way. So many experiences you try to protect your child from — hoping they never have to feel certain pains you once felt yourself. Even though some things are inevitable and they have to learn on their own, as a parent, you still do your best to shield and protect.

If you have a support system, cherish it. Appreciate it. Speak life into the people who pour into you and love on your child. My circle is small and my support team is even smaller, but I thank God every single day for mine.

This weekend has been emotional for me. As the oldest of four, I grew up extremely independent, and I raised my child to be the same. Watching him save his own money and buy his first car made me so proud.

Now he’s telling his friends not to grow up and start paying bills 😂

Thanks

The moment I heard Lil’ Toxic by , I was instantly locked in 😮‍🔥

Her voice is smooth, a little dangerous… her tone… her whole style just pulled me in. And the way her sound flows… it melts right into my movement like it belongs there.

I love when music finds you like that—unexpected/ without force, but perfectly aligned.

Now I’m just patiently waiting for the full version to drop on IG so I can align my choreo with the verse I used 🔁

Do y’all listen to Tati Dior? Who’s your artist of choice right now?

JanI learned something in this class that I’m taking with me for life—don’t ever tell me to “walk on one foot” again 😂

It’s not always easy for me to catch someone else’s dance language, but I leaned in anyway… and baby, I had a time. The energy in the room, the people, the vibe—it all met me exactly where I was.

And Janeeva?! Whew. Her presence is real. She shows up as the SAME woman I’ve watched and admired for years—and that kind of authenticity hits different when you feel it in person.

Grateful for the stretch. Grateful for the experience. Grateful for the reminder that I can be a student and still stand fully in my power.
