Five years ago, we achieved a lifelong goal and became Doctors of Education in Ethical Leadership. What started as a dream became a journey of perseverance, sacrifice, and purpose. Through every challenge, we stood together and five years later we’re still leading with integrity, passion, and excellence.

There’s a side of me that not everyone gets to see: the professor 💛🦅👩🏼‍🏫

The one who looks at her students and doesn’t just see where they are…but where they can be. The one who believes, deeply and unapologetically, that every single student has greatness inside of them; especially those the world too quickly misunderstands.

During Autism Acceptance Month, I feel this even more 🧩

My students have taught me what perseverance truly looks like. They rise in spaces that weren’t always built for them. They communicate in ways that stretch us to be better listeners. They show resilience when expectations are low and doubt is loud.

And still…they push forward 💪🏼💕

I’ve watched them silence rooms that underestimated them. I’ve watched them master skills people said would be “too hard.” I’ve watched them prove over and over again that their potential is not defined by a label.

To my students: I see you. I believe in you. And I will always be in your corner reminding you that you are capable, powerful, and worthy of every opportunity this world has to offer.

Keep going. Keep growing. Keep proving them wrong. 💫

Three years ago, they told us what he couldn’t do…we declared to focus on what he could do! 🖼️💕

I began advocating for this incredible young man when the odds were against him. Back then, we were fighting for the right services and support in his least restrictive environment. Today? He’s an international award-winning artist who can sit down with a blank canvas and create magic without a single prompt 🙏🏼💕🧩 He’s made friendships and connections with peers who seek his attention at school and in the community.

Seeing him thrive in his art studio reminded me why I do what I do. When we get the advocacy right, our kids don’t just manage; they blossom 👦🏻🦋🖍️So proud of you TJ!! This is only the beginning…

Spent time with amazing women in education via for the Heart of Education Luncheon Kickoff Party! Backpacks to Briefcases is the theme, making a difference for tomorrow’s workforce 💼 Favorite part of tonight was meeting who’s lovely! I enjoyed our chat and her kindness is priceless 💕 And the fashionable duo who are stunning and empowering; they’ll be the MCs at the upcoming event. More to come! 👑✨💕
