We need 15 volunteers for English Camp Celebration! 💚

One evening. A room full of proud kids and families. Be a part of it.

Every year, we close out English Camp by celebrating the kids and everything they've worked toward. This event is a chance for camp volunteers to step back, be present, and build real relationships with the children and their families, but we need more hands to make the event run smoothly.

Here's where we need you:
Set-up & Clean-up — All hands on deck before and after the celebration
Traffic & Parking Assistants — Help families arrive and find their way inside
Ushers — Guide kids from classrooms to the event room and help them get seated
Outside Activity Coordinator— keep the outside activities fun, organized, and on track

We want to give a big thank you to the Ladies for Literacy Guild - Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation for coming out to PLI and reading stories to our children this summer.

Their goal of fostering a love of reading through the power of literacy pairs beautifully with PLI’s purpose of educating and equipping immigrants and refugees. When organizations come alongside our families like this, it reminds us we do our best work together.
