May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and while many of us are still struggling with the financial stress of the coronavirus pandemic, there’s the emotional toll that deserves just as much attention.

To stay mentally strong, I have chosen to disconnect from the negativity of the news like death tolls and unemployment rates. I try to focus on things for which I am thankful, like the clients that have stuck with me, my own physical health and additional time I can now enjoy with family.

What tips can you share?

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I love this perfect Cinco de Mayo recipe from Urban Chef.

This recipe is SUPER simple to make in time for your Cinco de Mayo dinner tonight.

Cut pineapple, mango, red pepper and onions, cilantro and jalapenos accordingly.

In a bowl, combine the pineapple, mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro, olive oil, jalapeno, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
