The National Weather Service has confirmed that the Anchor Lake Dam on East Hobolochitto Creek in Pearl River County is at risk of failure.

⚠️ If you are located between I-59 and Caesar Road, officials are urging residents to EVACUATE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.

A dam failure could result in rapidly rising floodwaters with little warning. Do not wait to see conditions worsen before taking action.

✅ Move to higher ground now.
✅ Follow all instructions from local emergency management officials.
✅ Avoid flooded roadways.
✅ Monitor official sources for updates and evacuation information.

🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE TOMBALL, CYPRESS & GREATER HOUSTON 🌧️

We’re continuing to monitor a storm system moving toward Louisiana. While the center of the system is moving away from Southeast Texas, plenty of moisture remains in place and will keep rain chances high through Wednesday.

What to expect:
☔ Periods of rain and thunderstorms
🌧️ Occasional heavy downpours
⚠️ Localized street flooding, especially in low-lying areas
🚗 Difficult travel during heavier rain

Some areas, including Tomball and The Woodlands, have already experienced flooding concerns. Additional rainfall could cause water to rise quickly in areas that receive repeated rounds of rain.

Forecast Confidence: Moderate

We’re confident that rain will continue, but the exact location of the heaviest rainfall remains uncertain. Some communities may see only light to moderate rain, while others could experience much heavier totals depending on where rain bands develop.
