🎨All ages are welcome to a FREE workshop with artist Irving Mondragón Laguna, as he teaches the technique behind this year's fall art installation. At the end of the workshop you can take home your very own papier mache mask.

👨‍🎨This workshop is a feature of the fall art installation, Fantastic Animals from Mexico: Alebrijes and Nahuales. During Hispanic Heritage Month, visitors can enter the realm of Mexican magical realism as they discover eight, 20-foot sculptures depicting fantastic creatures from the realm of the spirits.

🍂This fall get ready for three spectacular markets filled with Houston's small businesses and local makers. Shoppers can discover delicious goodies like baked goods, authentic traditional food or tasty beverages. Visitors can also shop from a variety of boutiques, plant vendors and hand crafted items. 🇲🇽Enjoy a special curated Latin market on September 26 alongside México en el Corazón. Shoppers can purchase traditional food like tamales, aguas frescas, and churros. Or purchase traditional clothing, flowers and crafts.

📖Young creative scholars are invited to a writing workshop with Writers in the Schools (WITS) every second Saturday of the month. These workshops are designed to unlock the joy and power of self-expression while encouraging participants to unplug from devices and connect with nature. All you need is your imagination. 🚲The temporary bike lane is coming down at Discovery Green. Visitors will once again have the option to park on McKinney Street and La Branch Street, just in time for the fall programming. Street parking is FREE everyday after 6 pm and all day Sundays.
