I wrote ALONE IS A LIE because I was tired of seeing people settle in dating and relationships. For years, I did the same—I believed that if I wasn’t with someone, something was wrong with me.
I let those lies run my life when, in reality, what I needed wasn’t another relationship—I needed to heal. I had to face my past, own my mistakes, and do the work.
For me, that meant taking over three years off from dating. It wasn’t easy, but healing starts from within. No one is perfect, but growth is a choice.
So here’s the question I asked myself—the same one I challenge you to ask:
Would I want my future spouse to marry me in the state I’m in right now?”
