VQMe

What can a potty-trained three-year-old teach you about leadership?

More than your last consultant. I promise.

This week's Outside The Frame newsletter (with its new name) is NOT what you're expecting.

It's also one of the most important things I've written around what leaders do to their teams without ever meaning to.

⚠️ Fair warning: P**p may or may not be involved. 😳

Look What I Made! There's a kid. Maybe three years old.

Everything looks fine.

The job.
The calendar.
The responsibilities.
The version of you everyone else sees.

And still… something feels off.

That feeling isn’t random.

Sometimes the life that looks “right” on paper is being held together by thinking patterns you can’t see yet.

You don’t need more pressure.
You need to see what’s driving the disconnect.

Start there 👉 https://linktw.in/UClubY

You did everything they told you to do.

Went to school. Got the degree. Built the resume. Showed up. Did the right things in the right order.

And you're still not where you were supposed to be.

The house feels impossible. The salary isn't what it sounded like on paper. The stability your parents had — the kind that felt like a given — doesn't seem to exist in the same way anymore.

So you keep doing more. Optimizing. Hustling. Waiting for the equation to finally balance.

But here's what nobody warned you about:

When you spend your whole life following someone else's formula, you never build trust in your own thinking.

And when the formula stops working — you don't just lose the outcome.

You lose confidence in your own judgment. Because you never had a chance to develop it.

You've made it look good.

Promotions. Stability. Checked most of the boxes.

And something still feels off — like you're doing well at a version of your life you didn't quite choose. It's not bad. It's just not fully yours.

That's not a motivation problem. That's not a discipline problem.

It's a thinking pattern problem. And thinking patterns can be measured.

Your VQMe report shows you exactly which patterns are driving the gap — in about 15 minutes. No personality typing. No framework to memorize. Just a clear picture of what's actually running the show.

$27. No subscription. Nothing waiting on the other side.

The playbook they handed you was written for a world that no longer exists... And you're still running it.

I spent 20 years helping people see what they can't see about themselves.
Then I built a tool to do it at scale.
Then I ran my own challenge through it.
Let's just say the tool works. 😊
New edition of my LinkedIn newsletter is up — and it starts with the most inconvenient thing a $27 report has ever shown me.

I was building the tool. It still caught me. At some point last year I realized I was doing everything right and getting nowhere. Which is a special kind of frustrating when you've spent 20 years helping other people get unstuck.
