A Color Pop Life

Today is already a ☀️ It is quiet at the house - kids are out ( and ) and French () is out 🚴🏻 … so this is relaxing next to the pool for a little and !

Sitting here looking at all of those and am thankful. They say for each wrinkle is a story and it means you are living a life well lived. Thank you - - and for all of my fine lines 😁 and the stories they were made from 😘

First time this summer to actually get out and enjoy a day of ☀️ in Houston with some lingering threat of a storm! I enjoyed a little 🏃‍♀️ at and washed that small break of sweat with a dip into the pool 🏊‍♀️.

Today was a day!

to a man who has taught these kiddos so much … been the presence at the times when a shoulder or ear was what they needed … supported their dreams and adventures … keeps laughter in the smallest moments. Happy Fathers Day 😘

Another school year in the 📚s but a milestone one at that. My little angel, , is now officially 🎓 from middle school at and will now be a 🐠 at the big MHS!!! I know high school years are some of the most memorable and I truly hope they are some for her 🥰

in the books! A few 😭 on the inside for this when seeing my big little man in the tux for the first time 🤣. I am sure and Lucy will enjoy their night with their great crew of friends ☺️

This is the first post for me, so hopefully I am giving justice to our latest project - ’s !

When we purchased our literally right before COVID hit mainstream, we knew we embraced a home that would need a little . Amelie’s bathroom was one part of this .

This bathroom was a as I got to include my voice and taste while also making sure we choose a look that would equally be attractive to future home lovers. A few things I learned:

1. My daughter has gone from a fun-loving to a sophisticated vice 😜

2. are the most indulgently soft you can imagine! (Shout out to )

3. When tubs are in short supply, you can improvise with a custom tile tub!

4. If you are looking to add a new dimension of light 💡 in the bathroom when you have tall ceilings, consider - we couldn’t be more thrilled how they turned out and it does make a difference in the feeling of added space in the bathroom.

5. Our splurges: a custom toilet paper niche because kids seem to have toilet paper evaporate often 🤣 ... and the matching in the vanities.

What do you think about this ???

Anybody else have a closeted obsession with doors? I see so many options in our home for something like this. We are about to embark on a bathroom remodel for and I wonder if she would let me do this for the doors leading into her bathroom 🤔

I can’t believe we will be in our new home almost for a year and I finally got the today to create this for our 🎨🖌🖼.

I have spent countless hours scouring - - and the endless magazines to find something that would blend with the colors of the house. Although they all lended I had to take this on and do a custom piece.

When you know you are married to a 🤪. is absolutely gorgeous today and I woke up the speck of sun greeting thru the windows .... but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what wrestling noise outside was. Mystery solved. Just another boy playing with his toys 😆. Even city boys can love their kites!

Well ... I thought I was going to get the 🌊 ... but my son has other plans and got it - but he literally over me to get it, with his fin getting my ankle in the process! I thought I was all good ... just a little swelling and tolerable pain for the last few weeks. - after 3 weeks of swelling getting worse - go see a doctor 🤪. Fractured ankle and a new fashion statement boot for 2-3 weeks to go with it. I guess I will be spending my weekend figuring out how to stay active with this lovely companion 😁
