PAE (prostatic artery embolization) is minimally invasive — no surgery, no general anesthesia, usually no overnight stay.
The day of the procedure:
You'll get an IV and a sedative to keep you relaxed. A small area near your wrist or groin is numbed, and a thin catheter is guided through your artery to the blood vessels feeding your prostate. Tiny beads are released to reduce blood flow — which is what causes the prostate to shrink over time. The whole thing takes one to three hours.
How you'll feel:
Some pressure during the procedure, but most people aren't in pain. Expect a day or two of fatigue and possibly some urinary irritation afterward.
Recovery:
Light activity within a couple of days. Full results take one to three months.
Most patients are surprised by how manageable it is.

Let's be honest, hemorrhoids are a topic no one wants to talk about.
If you're tired of dealing with hemorrhoid symptoms that keep coming back, HAE (Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization) may be worth exploring.
This minimally invasive procedure works by reducing blood flow to the hemorrhoids, helping decrease swelling and discomfort at the source. Unlike traditional surgery, HAE doesn't require incisions and is typically performed on an outpatient basis.
Many people choose HAE because it offers a non-surgical option with minimal downtime and a quick return to normal activities.

Varicose veins are more than just a cosmetic concern. They can cause aching, heaviness, swelling, cramping, itching, and leg fatigue that worsens throughout the day. These symptoms are often caused by damaged veins that allow blood to flow backward and pool in the legs.
Venous ablation is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat these faulty veins. Using laser, glue or radiofrequency energy, the affected vein is sealed closed so blood can naturally reroute through healthier veins.
Compared to traditional vein surgery, venous ablation typically involves:
• No large incisions
• Minimal downtime
• Less discomfort during recovery
• Relief from symptoms caused by venous insufficiency
For many patients, venous ablation can improve both comfort and appearance while helping restore healthier circulation.

Regenerative Injection Therapy may sound like something out of a science fiction novel, but the goal is actually pretty simple: helping the body support healing in injured or painful areas. These treatments use targeted injections to stimulate the body’s natural repair response in joints, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues.
Regenerative therapies are often used for conditions like:
• Arthritis and joint pain
• Tendon injuries
• Sports injuries
• Chronic back, shoulder, knee, hip pain or any other joint pain
For some patients, Regenerative Injection Therapy may help reduce pain, improve function, and delay or avoid more invasive procedures.

Myth!
While hysterectomy is a treatment option for fibroids, many women are also candidates for minimally invasive procedures like Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE). UFE is performed by interventional radiologists and works by blocking blood flow to fibroids, causing them to shrink over time and helping relieve symptoms like heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, and pressure.
Unlike traditional surgery, UFE does not require the removal of the uterus and typically involves less downtime and recovery time. During Fibroid Awareness Month, women should know that there may be more than one path to symptom relief.

Uterine fibroids affect millions of women, yet many people don't realize the symptoms they experience could be related to fibroids. Heavy bleeding, pelvic discomfort, and fatigue are often dismissed as a “normal” part of life, leading many women to go years without answers.
Common signs and symptoms of fibroids may include:
• Heavy or prolonged periods
• Pelvic pressure, pain, or bloating
• Frequent urination
• Lower back pain
• Fatigue related to heavy bleeding
During Fibroid Awareness Month, we're helping raise awareness about both the symptoms of fibroids and the treatment options available. Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) is a minimally invasive procedure performed by interventional radiologists that works by blocking blood flow to fibroids, causing them to shrink over time.

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is often missed or mistaken for other conditions. That means you may need to speak up at your next doctor's appointment.
Here's how to get the most out of that visit:
✅ Share your family health history (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol)
✅ Be honest about smoking — past or present
✅ Describe any leg pain, cramping, or circulation concerns
✅ Ask whether you need to see a vascular specialist
Questions worth asking:
→ Will my symptoms get better or worse over time?
→ Can lifestyle changes or medication help?
→ What warning signs should I be on the lookout for?
→ Are there tests to check my PAD progression?

Hemorrhoids are very common and often manageable with conservative care.
Many people find relief with simple approaches like:
- Increasing fiber and hydration
- Using over-the-counter creams
- Taking warm sitz baths
- Avoiding straining during bowel movements
These strategies can be effective, especially in early stages. But when symptoms persist, such as ongoing pain, bleeding, or discomfort, it may be time to consider next steps.
Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE) is a minimally invasive, non-surgical option that targets the blood supply to hemorrhoids, helping reduce symptoms without the need for traditional surgery.
If conservative treatments have not provided enough relief, HAE may offer a safe, effective alternative to help you feel more comfortable and get back to your routine.

Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) is a treatment option for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) that can provide significant relief without surgery.
Key benefits include:
- Minimally invasive: No major incisions or surgery required
- Fast recovery: Most patients return to normal activities relatively quickly
- Symptom relief: Helps reduce urinary frequency, urgency, and weak flow
- Lower risk of side effects: Reduced risk of complications compared to surgical options
- Preserves quality of life: Lower likelihood of impacting sexual function
If BPH symptoms are affecting your daily life, PAE may be a safe and effective option to consider.
